A good idea, start from the truth, and move forward from there. Self acceptance can be a beautiful thing!

Glad to hear it spoke to you. It certainly has been a big area of growth for me in the last few months. I discover new applications every day!

This is excellent imagery. I admire the metaphors, and the possibilities of application in many areas of life!

I like the concept of Creative Source. I definitively feel I have more access to it when I dance the 5Rhythms. Thanks for sharing persistently your thoughts!

Hi Leeann. I've been meaning to respond to you on this, as several times I've checked my body when walking and found that I'm always shoulders forward/hunched. When I make the conscious effort to walk from my belly, I'm immediately relaxed. I've passed this little gem on to lots of other people, and it's great seeing them reaching awareness. Thanks - keep up the good work xx

It's true, there is something super simple and also powerful about a physical (somatic) reminder that brings us back to our core skills. You're a person with great intuition and wisdom, so I hope this reminder helps you bring it forward more. I know I will benefit loads from seeing more of that side of you in our work together!

Thanks for the comment Jo, it really speaks to me. You are one of those people whose sense of structure I've admired and learned from. I keep finding that if I'm good at one thing, then working on the flipside makes me more well rounded and much more effective!

Great Blog! As a facilitator I am constantly stiving for that balance of form and freedom. For me you have hit the nail on the head when you say that the preplanning and structure of outcomes before the session helps allow the improvisation ( which is what I belive makes a truely great faciliator) during the session. Becoming more comfortable with the improvisation is the gift that Nia has given me!

Thanks Leeann for the reminder. i also heard that the belly was the center of wisdom and intuition and I'm often told by one of my own mentor to bring my awareness to my belly or breath from my belly when I'm thinking... but I forgot! It's interesting to read your own experience and knowledge about it.

It's true, Haiti has been a good teacher for me. There is so much more that you can give, besides just money or time. A song. A laugh. Like Felipe said too... there are just many more ways to say yes than I often remember here in the USA. I'm definitely committing to more yes's in 2012!
